Super Duper Secure Mode: A new security feature for the Edge browser
The experiment is still at the beginning. So you’d better watch it first. The aim is: “Our hope is to develop something that changes the modern exploit landscape and significantly increases the costs for attackers.”
“In the next few months, we will try to answer these questions with our Super Duper Secure Mode (SDSM) experiment. It will take some time, but we hope we can protect CET, ACG and CFG in the renderer process. As soon as this is done, we hope to find a way to activate these attenuations in an intelligent and risk-based manner and give users the opportunity to weigh the pros and cons of each. “
The functions for this month will gradually be implemented and communicated further. It will be interesting to see what will become of this project.
