With the release of the Windows 10 update in version 1903, a new feature was brought to debut, integrated directly into the Microsoft operating system called Windows Sandbox. The result of some experiments that Microsoft had already carried out in the recent past. Now with Windows 11 OS, you can also activate Windows Sandbox so that you run untrusted apps in isolation.
Once activated, it allows you to run any application in an environment isolated from the rest of the operating system. It ensures that any changes applied to the operating system have no effect on it once the application is closed.
Steps to enable Windows 11 Sandbox
Step 1: You need to press the Win + R shortcut keys and then enter optionalfeatures.exe into the Run Dialog box.
Step 2: Click on Enter and you will see the “Turn Windows features on or off” Dialog under “Windows Feature”.
Step 3: Now you have to select the check box next to the Windows Sandbox and click OK.
Step 4: Close the Windows Features Dialog and you will see the “Restart Now” button.
Step 5: Click on the Restart Now button to apply the changes.

When to use Windows 11 Sandbox
