Currently, you can’t download Windows 11 ISO directly from Microsoft it’s only available through the windows insider program. But still, people are searching for installers files from the internet. However because due to this trend malicious hackers had pushed various Windows 11 installer file with lots of malware within them.
Well-known antivirus company Kaspersky Lab has reported that various such installer is currently on the network. They had also told us about “86307_windows 11 build 21996.1 x64 + activator.exe” which is the same kind of Windows 11 installer with lots of malware on it.
These installers show users that to accept the license agreement. The license agreement states that the installer will download other software, claiming that these are “additional offers from our sponsors.”. But when users do this they unload various malware and spyware in the background. Ranging from annoying adware to very malicious password-stealing spyware these installers are loaded with damaging software for your device and your privacy.
To stay safe from these kinds of issues don’t download Windows 11 installers from an unknown source. Always use installers directly provided by Microsoft to ensure your safety from data theft. And keep in mind Microsoft is not providing any direct installer of Windows 11 to the general public yet. It’s only available through windows updates if you are signed up for the Windows insider program. Also, Windows 11 is currently in beta so don’t install it on your primary devices because it has various bugs on it. The final build of Windows 11 will be released later this year.
