As of April 2022, only three processors from Intel i7 seventh-gen support Windows 11 update. They are:

- Intel i7-7820HQ
- Intel i7-7000X
Except for these three processors, all other i7 7th-gen processors are incompatible with Windows 11. You could even use the PC Health check app to check the compatibility of your Intel Core i7-7700HQ-based computer with Windows 11.
Why doesn’t the i7-7700HQ processor support Windows 11?
It remains unclear why the Intel Core i7-7700HQ CPU is not compatible with Windows 11 OS.
