Samsung released One UI 4.0 based on Android 12 with many new changes. The One UI 4.0 brings Samsung’s own colour palette, which changes the accent colour in the whole UI and the compatible icon’s colour according to the wallpaper. The new animation engine adds all-new app opening/closing animations. The fluency, security, and smoothness of the whole ROM have been further improved. May 03: Samsung Galaxy A32 5G, Galaxy Tab S7 5G and Tab S7+ 5G owners are getting the Android 12-based One UI 4.1 update in the US. In Canada, One UI 4.1 update has been released for Galaxy A52 5G.
April 13: Samsung is seeding the One UI 4.1 update for Verizon locked Galaxy A42 5G in the US.
April 07: Verizon’s Galaxy S20 FE 5G series are getting One UI 4.1 update.
April 04: T-Mobile locked Galaxy S20 FE 5G is getting the Android 12-based One UI 4.1 update.
April 02: Russian Galaxy A52 units are getting One UI 4.1 update.
March 28: Unlocked Galaxy Note 20 lineup in the US is getting the One UI 4.1 update.
March 24: Verizon’s Galaxy Note 20, Note 20 Ultra, Z Fold 2, and Z Fold 3 are receiving the One UI 4.1 update.
March 23: Verizon’s Samsung Galaxy S20 and Galaxy S21 family are getting One UI 4.1 update. Samsung has started seeding One UI 4.1 update to Galaxy Note 10 series, Galaxy S10 series, Galaxy Z Flip, and Galaxy Z Flip 5G in Europe. The Galaxy A52 5G smartphone is also getting the latest One UI update.
March 19: One UI 4.1 update is now rolling out for Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21+, Galaxy S21 Ultra, Galaxy Note 20 series, Galaxy Z Fold 3, and Galaxy Z Flip 3 devices. The latest build is currently available in select countries.

February 22: As per a new report One UI 4.1 update for the Galaxy S21 series will likely release at the beginning of March 2022. The Galaxy S21 Ultra will receive the update first.
February 10: Samsung has launched the One UI 4.1 update alongside the Galaxy S22 family. All S22 models ship with One UI 4.1 out of the box. The company has also published a video revealing One UI 4.1 features.
January 31: For the Galaxy S21 Ultra, Samsung is preparing One UI 4.1 build with PDA version G998U1UEU5CV4. It will bring improved software performance and animations.
December 30: A report via ITMaterial.co.kr reveals that One UI 4.1 will pack several new features such as Improved Color Palette, Vibration pattern synchronization system, Focus Mode on Multistar, Advanced Director’s View, and Smart Recommendation.
December 20: A Samsung Members forum moderator has said that the Galaxy S22 series will ship with the One UI 4.1 update. He further said that One UI 4.1 will likely be released to the Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21+, Galaxy S21 Ultra, Galaxy Note 20, and Galaxy Note 20 Ultra devices in February 2022.
What’s New in One UI 4.1?
The One UI 4.1 update is an add-on to the standard One UI 4.0. The company has already introduced a number of changes and features in the One UI 4.0 update, so One UI 4.1 is a minor update.
The One UI 4.1 update brings RAM Plus feature (Virtual RAM compatibility), improved software stability, significant improvements in the camera department, multi-platform connectivity, smart calendar, and multi-window.

When it comes to the list of compatible smartphones, the S21 series, Z Flip 3, Z Fold 3, and Note 20 are expected to receive the OTA update before any other Samsung smartphone. Following the official rollout schedule, more devices such as the S20 FE, S20 series, Note 10 series, and budget devices such as the Galaxy M52, Galaxy F62, and Galaxy A52s may receive the update.
