Samsung launched the Galaxy A23 4G in March 2022. Now its 5G variant is on the way and will be dubbed the Galaxy A23 5G. The device will reportedly launch in the US, Europe, and India. The Galaxy A23 5G smartphone is identified by the model number SM-A236B.
Last week, the A23 5G listed on FCC; revealed it would pack a 5,000mAh battery with 25W fast charging. The Geekbench listing shows it will have the Snapdragon 695 SoC on board, a slight upgrade from the Snapdragon 680 SoC found in the 4G model.
Ahead of the debut of the Galaxy A23 5G, we have managed to get its pricing details from a European retailer listing. As per the listing, the Galaxy A23 5G will be priced at around €300 in Europe for the 64GB variant. It will be available in White, Black, and Light Blue colours.
For comparison, Galaxy A22 5G was launched with a €230 price tag for the 4GB+64GB variant.
As of now, the exact Galaxy A23 5G release timeline is unknown. It looks like the A23 5G will launch only sometime after the upcoming Unpacked 2022 launch event scheduled for August 10, where the company is expected to announce the Galaxy Z Flip 4, Galaxy Z Fold 4, and Galaxy Watch 5 Series, and the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro.
