Samsung Galaxy A51 5G is the company’s best selling mid-range 5G phone. The A51 5G was launched in December 2019 with Android 10-based One UI 2 onboard. It has already received the Android 11-based One UI 3.1 update. Now Android 12-based One UI 4.1 is rolling out in phases. A51 users are wondering whether they will receive the next-generation Android 13 (One UI 5) update or not. Let’s find out.
Will Galaxy A51 5G get a One UI 5 (Android 13) update?
- Yes, Samsung Galaxy A51 5G may receive the Android 13 update with One UI 5. Once the beta build is available, you can join the beta program using the Samsung Member app.
As per Samsung’s upgrade policy, older Galaxy A series phones are eligible for three years of Android updates. The Galaxy A51 came with Android 10 OS installed out of the box. Now it runs on Android 12 (the second OS upgrade). So the third OS upgrade, i.e. Android 13 (One UI 5), will probably roll out to Galaxy A51 5G smartphone.
Release Date: Android 13 (One UI 5) update for Galaxy A51 5G will likely be released in February 2023.
How to Download? Once Android 13 is available for A51 5G, you can navigate Settings >> Software update >> Download and install. It may take some time to complete the package unpacking. So keep patience.
