The new tablet will be called Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 10.4 (2022). To recall, the old Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 10.4 was launched in September 2020 and became a very popular tablet.
Galaxy Tab A7 10.4 (2022) will likely be essentially the same device with a new chipset. It will carry the SM-T503 model. Last month, SamMobile reported its development with the SM-T503 model. The support page is also live on Samsung’s Levant website. It has also received FCC certification revealing its schematics. The new Tab A7 was also spotted on Wi-fi Alliance.
Galaxy Tab A7 10.4 (2022) has also been listed on a European retailer site with an SM-T503 model that reveals its pricing as €188.
As per our source, the Galaxy Tab A7 10.4 (2022) will pack Unisoc T618 SoC (paired with 3GB RAM and 32GB Storage) instead of Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 662. We have already seen Unisoc T618 SoC with Samsung Galaxy Tab A8 10.5 (2021). The 12nm Unisoc T618 chipset packs two Cortex-A75 cores running at 2.0 GHz and six Cortex-A55 cores ticking at 1.8 GHz. The GPU is paired with Mali-G52 MP2.
To recall, Galaxy Tab A7 2020 features a 10.4-inch TFT display having a WUXGA+ resolution of 2000×1200 pixels. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 11nm Mobile Platform. The chipset is backed by 3GB RAM, and there is 32GB and 64GB storage options. It packs a single 8MP camera at the rear, while for selfies, there is a 5MP camera at the front. The tablet features a 7,040 mAh battery with 15W charging support.
